新喜皮革のコードバンの取り扱いを開始しました。新喜皮革は兵庫県姫路市にある馬革専門のタンナーで、ミモザの樹皮エキスを使う昔ながらの手法を用いて良質なコードバンを生産されています。新喜皮革のコードバンはフルタンニンでなめされ、約10ヶ月におよぶプロセスを経て完成します。コードバンとは馬革の中でも特に繊維が詰まった部位を磨き上げた革で、独特な光沢や手触りが特徴で、美しい経年変化もお楽しみいただけます。
最初の作例として、H&Craftmanship定番のMoney Clip Wallet（コードバン仕様）を掲載しました。こちらは、同じく姫路でなめされた良質なヌメ革と組み合わせており、表と裏のコントラストをお楽しみいただけます。その他の定番商品をコードバン仕様でご注文いただくことも可能ですので、お気軽にメールにてお問い合わせください。
We are happy to announce that Shinki Cordovan is available in our online store. Shinki Hikaku is a Japanese tannery who specializes horse hide. They produce fully vegetable-tanned cordovan with the traditional way of using bark of mimosas. It takes around ten months to produce their beautiful cordovan of the finest quality. Cordovan is the name of a horsehide which is made from a particular part of a horsehide with a beautiful luster and exquisite texture.
As a starting point, we uploaded our regular item Money Clip Wallet using cordovan on the front, combined with full-grain leather. You can enjoy the contrast of two different type of texture. If you want to order other items using cordovan, please feel free to contact us.
